Robert Nippoldt is an internationally renowned illustrator and book artist. He gained recognition through his multi-award-winning book trilogy Gangster, Jazz, and Hollywood, about the United States of the 1920s and 1930s, as well as his illustrations for the New Yorker and Time magazines. His works are internationally exhibited and sold. At the moment, he is collaborating with TASCHEN Verlag, working on a book about the Berliner nights of the 1920s while he tours through Germany with the artistic trio Größenwahn (Megalomania) and his live-drawing theatre show Ein Rätselhafter Schimmer (A Mysterious Shimmer).
